ABSENTEE PROXY BID FORM

If you are unable to attend the Southern Smoke Decanted live auction on Saturday, March 28, 2026 but would like to submit a bid via an Absentee Proxy Bid, please complete and submit this form no later than 5pm Friday, March 27, 2026. If a bid is to be considered for any Live Auction Lot(s) on your behalf, this form must be submitted to the Southern Smoke Foundation by 5pm on Friday, March 27, 2026.

A credit card number must be provided to secure an Auction Bid. If paying by ACH/Check, your card will not be charged unless we have not received your ACH/Check payment within 5 business days of the event. Your signature on this form constitutes permission to charge all successful Auction Bid(s) on your credit card as listed herein.

Please indicate your maximum bid for each Auction Lot below. Please refer to the auction "Terms and Conditions" page for details pertaining to Proxy Bids at the Southern Smoke Decanted event.

PROXY BID AUTHORIZATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following represents agreement between the absentee bidder named below and the Southern Smoke Decanted live auction to be held on March 28, 2026.

1. I understand I must be 21 years old or over to bid in the auction.
2. With my signature below, I authorize the Volunteer Proxy Bidder representative from the Southern Smoke Decanted auction to bid on my behalf for the auction items I have designated on this form.
3. I understand that all Auction Lots are subject to the rules of the auction and in accordance with the catalog statements.
4. I understand that my bid will be executed at the lowest dollar amount possible as allowed by starting bid amount and other bids.
5. I understand that the Southern Smoke Foundation auction Volunteer Proxy Bidder representing my interests will bid aggressively to avoid the risk of losing an Auction Lot to a more active bidder and will not bid higher than needed to win an Auction Lot.
6. I understand the Volunteer Proxy bidder will not exceed my maximum bid for any Auction Lot.
7. I understand that if two identical maximum bids are made for the same item, the bidder who submitted their bid first will win the item.
8. If my PROXY bid is the highest made for Auction lot(s) I have designated on this form, I will win the Auction Lot(s). I authorize my credit card on file to be charged on March 28, 2026 for that amount.
9. I understand that my submission of the Proxy Bid Form is final and may not be altered after 5:00pm on March 27, 2026.
10. I understand that my purchase(s) will be shipped to me, if shipping is possible, at my own cost, as soon as possible following the Auction OR I may pick them up at the Southern Smoke Foundation Office the week following the Auction. Any charges relating to the shipment or storage of the said item(s) will also be charged to my credit card on file. Southern Smoke Foundation will not be responsible for any item(s) left at the offices after May 31, 2026.
