Southern Smoke Foundation is a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to providing support for F+B workers in crisis. Through our annual Festival and year-round programs, we've raised millions to support the people who feed and serve our communities.

We rely partly on passionate volunteers to make our fundraising events a success. Whether you're a people person or prefer working behind the scenes, there's a place for you on our team! Please share your information with us to be added to our volunteer database, and we’ll be in touch as opportunities arise in your area!

Year-Round Volunteer Committees
Interested in getting more involved? Our year-round volunteer committee members receive priority placement when assigning volunteer roles for events throughout the year.

Service Committee
    • Forward-facing roles that put you at the heart of the guest experience.
      • Guest Relations, Check-In, Hospitality, Information Booths, Merchandise Support

Operations Committee
    • Back-of-house roles focused on setup, logistics, and keeping things running smoothly.
      • Load-in / Load-out, Event Assembly, Logistics Support, General Operations Support (Some roles may involve heavier lifting, based on ability.)
